Another enjoyable Phryne reread. This one feels a bit odd because the two mysteries are very different and barely match up at all, except in that Phryne, Dot, Jane and Ruth are present and to some extent or another involved in both. It's an interesting choice -- it's better not forced together, but the two stories sit weirdly beside each other, almost like "I don't have enough for a book based on this story alone".
