Gaza: Stay Human by Vittorio Arrigoni

5.0

"Choosing to remain silent means somehow lends support to the genocide unfolding right now."

I started reading this while waiting for my turn to get my 3rd swab test on May. It distracts me from thinking too much about this pandemic thing, it lessened my anxiety of having to undergo another two weeks of quarantined because if I ever think my life or what me and my family are going through is hard, Palestinians got it even harder. Their people got tortured physically, mentally and emotionally for years and almost everyday, people got killed. Their future in general are at stakes.

This book is an account of an eyewitness who have seen and experienced first hand of the zionist Israel extreme inhuman occupation of Gaza Strip for several years. Someone he used to greet every morning, his friend, his neighbours are mostly dead. I highly respect this author courage to live in Gaza and serve as a human shield for Palestine Red Crescent ambulance. These stories are very transparent, so watch out for triggered warnings; war, bombing, killings, death, etc.

Thanks to the Kube Publishing for this ebook copy. I'm glad that i've read about these terrible accounts so the courage to speak up for my Palestinian brothers and sisters is always there. One day, Palestinian will win. InshaaAllah!
