An amazingly well-written novella about a slice-of-life story in an Indian household that suddenly transitions from lower to upper-middle-class. It beautifully depicts the human behavioral aspects of the process, and I found many aspects of it relatable. The ending was masterful, and it reminded me of a quote from the web series Ozark: 'To find instant fortune, sometimes you have to get your hands a little dirty in the business.'
