Magic, ghosts, jump scares, charming friends and foes — what’s not to love?!

The book follows Alex Stern and how her life dramatically changes after a fatal accident. But things suddenly start to go wrong when an innocent girl is found dead and all 8 houses seem to be involved. Alex is once again fighting for her life while also trying to save her university, friends, and protect the magic that is housed at Yale.

Review:
I LOVE THIS BOOK!! I wasn’t sure about it in the beginning; the dual timelines were a bit confusing and I just wasn’t feeling it. But THEN SHIT HITS THE FAN! And I was hooked. I fell in love with the characters and the magic of Ninth House and couldn’t put this book down. The writing is incredible, the character and world building were phenomenal (especially the amount that was able to be done in such a condensed book), and the ending had left me wanting more & more!
