So I've been listening to this book in large chunks and I will give it this: it is not as bad as the first one. Not so infuriating.
But, and people who love this book might want to stone me, but...
I like, really kinda hate Will Herondale. Yeah...yeah I do.
"Wah I'm Will and I have to make everybody HATE me because of a CURSE and I'm so TRAGIC and SAAAAD." and then surprise! The curse was never real anyway and him sucking so much is purposeless!
After you find this out, Will just becomes...I don't know, whiny? Jem is just a much more real person and I like him much, much better.
Also, the scene with Jem and Tessa in his bedroom? Thank you, that helped me ride the wave through. JUST DO IT ALREADY.
Okay anyway I'll probably just read the last one cause I'm this far in it now.
