A compelling read despite the lack of plot points. This novel reads like a memoir. The story within a story (within a report) is expertly crafted. Although the reader isn’t privy to the inner lives of secondary characters they’re still depicted as complex and multi faceted. Adina is thoughtful human and self aware—a common woman in every sense. This novel feels like a large view of the human experience though Adina’s life is small. Bonus for the authentic Philadelphia flavor.
