Frosty Proximity by Liz Alden

3.0

A nice short read that got me in the holiday spirit.

Kara and Peter were cute together. I liked how their relationship developed in the story.
As a Dutch person, I could not get into the sexiness of the Swiss-German words and sentences, but it did add a nice international flavour to things.

I did get the feeling that this story is part of a series with the many references to other people and things happening in the past. If not, the story could have done with some editing and getting rid of information. For instance, knowing the name of the game that Kara’s family likes to play is not relevant to the story at all.
Also, the names Kara and Clara, Nora and Noah, etc., were too similar to me. And yes while not all were important for the story, I would have preferred other names.

I received an ARC of this book (thanks!) and these are my own opinions.
