This was a sweet, fast, cozy mystery. I was afraid I wouldn’t like Vera at the beginning, but I ended up really loving and appreciating her. I appreciated that the MC was older and all the racial diversity in the book. Of course stories like this are a bit unbelievable and the murderer becomes obvious, but it’s still a fun ride.
