Clive Barker has been on my list of authors to read at some point. He didn't disappoint with the descriptions, and I believe that is the key to the real horror in these pages. Although graphic and gruesome without any doubts, the stories are so far flung they brought me little horror. Its mostly bizarre body horror. It didn't do much for me other than it was hard to look away from the oddity. If you enjoy body horror, this might be for you.
