The Way We Fall by Megan Crewe

3.0

Not dystopic - just your garden variety epidemic novel. Set on a Canadian island of all places. The escalation of tension and chaos was done very well but overall this was a very depressing novel. Frequently, novels like this can be uplifting because they discuss how humans put aside their differences to fight a common enemy in the form of the virus. That's usually why I like them. This novel concentrated on the the manner in which society breaks down and gosh it was bleak ... Yet another "first book in a series", so it will be interesting what follows.
