Firstly I have a complaint to get out of the way: it annoys me no end when the cover of the book misrepresents the character(s) or story within, and this cover certainly does that. If that's supposed to be Anna, her character doesn't carry weapons nor would she wear a midriff bearing top - and the definitely don't happen in this book. That aside, the book was as enjoyable as the previous books have been. I'm not sure if I'm getting better at working these out or they're getting predictable but spotting one of the bad guys was pretty easy, though I didn't see the bigger twist/plot progression coming. I think what I like about this and Mercedes Thompson's series is seeing the one world from alternate yet overlapping viewpoints and thats what keeps me going with the Alpha & the Omega series more than anything.
