I went into this book without very high hopes, I'd been so excited to read it a while back and ended up putting it on the back burner (not literally) after reading a few reviews which just seemed mad at it. And let me tell you, the only thing I'm mad at is myself for taking so long to pick it up!
This book was perfect for me, as someone who only really read YA contemporary romance up until this past month or so I feel like this was definitely one of the best books to read whilst transitioning into other genres, I got my romance, which was absolutely FABULOUS may I just add, I loved the whole relationship build up and the development of makani's and ollie's relationship through the book, they just really had me swooning (and mentally screaming JUST LOVE EACH OTHER ALREADY!!!) but then there was always a twist of "who the hell knows when the next murder is coming??" To snap me back into reality and had me sat back on the edge of my seat in anticipation!
