Wow. Wow wow wow. One thing I have to say: Go in to Evelyn Hugo with zero expectations or preconceived notions. In fact, if you haven't read it yet, stop reading this review right now. I had absolutely no idea what this book was about at first but went for it after seeing both BookTok and one of my classmates give it glowing recommendations. It's become possibly my favorite read of 2022, and I absolutely tore through it. I got through all of it in about two evenings, and I can't get over how good of a story it is. I almost don't want to say anything more so that I don't spoil a single detail. Just read it.
