This Book is Full of Brains: All Kinds of Brains and How They Work by Josy Bloggs, Little House of Science, Liz Kay

informative medium-paced

5.0

A great book for all of our STEM-learners!  This book really is full of brains with lots of experiments to test your own brain too!
From an in-depth, yet simple, explanation of the parts of the human brain and their functions we also get to find out about brains of animals, how hypnosis works and even the nervous system of plants!

As a STEM Ambassador I’m always interested to see books like this and see how comprehensive they are for smaller humans!  And this book ticks all the boxes!  With bright colours, great images, ease of reading and understanding and simple exercises for kids to partake in it’s impossible not to enjoy this.  Even as an adult I have learned so much from reading this book, for example finding out the size of dinosaurs brains and that there is science to suggest that Tyrannosaurus Rex’s could have been as smart as a modern chimpanzee!

I can’t wait to share this book with my fellow STEM Ambassadors and also with my nieces and nephew – I think this is right up their street!

Thank you to @lovebookstours, @buster_books and @littlehouseofscience for allowing me to read and review This Book Is Full of Brains!
