Raise High the Roof Beam, Carpenters and Seymour: An Introduction by J.D. Salinger

5.0

The first story is hilarious, real, and perfectly composed. But the second story, god, the SECOND STORY. The second story feels like something everyone shouldn’t be allowed to read. It feels like a posthumous diary leak. It’s about brothers, art, and integrity. It’s about so much more but god do i love three-word-groups. I love Salinger. I loved these two stories. I can’t even fucking talk about it it means so much to me.
