This book was such an "on the edge of my seat" reading, I couldn't put it down even after promising myself I would, I ended up late most nights.

The characters were lovable and the plot was well thought out and surprising, I was always on the edge to know what was next. I loved both Wendy and James, even though it took a while to warm up to him again after we showed him as Hook but I kinda knew was to come.
The few last chapters were a complete roller coaster and I wasn't expecting all the mess that came along, it was intense, not gonna lie sometimes I felt a bit sick. I really enjoyed the romance not consuming the whole plot, I loved how the themes of revenge, crime and mystery were big parts of the plot too.

After all, they've been through the villain gets his happy ending and it was very deserving.
I'm happy James finally found a family.
