The Honest Thief by Fyodor Dostoevsky
4.0
the honest thief dives into just what you might expect from the title. humans and their ability to be both good and evil.
some classic short stories care more about their message than the story itself, but dostoevsky prioritizes the plot/characters most.
which, is quite refreshing after some classic short stories..
but that’s not to say the message is unimportant. in fact, the themes and how they’re presented are my favorite in any of dostoevskys short stories so far.
the characters are unique and used perfectly to show human nature. i enjoyed it quite a lot! :)
