Stories from Suffragette City by M.J. Rose, Fiona Davis

3.0

Like almost all anthologies, this group of stories is a mixed bag. The stories center around the 1915 march for women's suffrage in New York City. Some of the writers used real people and others created their characters, though it was clear everyone had done his or her research. I enjoyed the author's notes about each story at the end of the book, though I think it would have been better to have them after each story instead of all together at the end, at least for the audiobook. This would make a nice book flight with Elaine F. Weiss's nonfiction book The Woman's Hour: The Great Fight to Win the Vote. 3.5 stars.
