The League of Picky Eaters by Stephanie V.W. Lucianovic

3.5

I really enjoyed this and it made me feel seen as someone who grew up "different," feeling like being myself made everything harder. This reads like a very clear metaphor for what it's like to be autistic and finding others like you, and embracing each other in an environment where everyone is trying to "train" you to be "normal." I wish the book formally acknowledged these parallels but I still think it's great and silly and fun!
