Child complained like fury about this book the entire time we read it (for school). I found the writing style annoying (SO MANY SENTENCE FRAGMENTS BEGINNING WITH CONJUNCTIONS, GUYS. There is a place for that for effect, but it was constant throughout the book and drove me a little batty.) This was what was available to us and we needed to read about Franklin for school, but there HAS to be a better kids' bio of him out there (besides Ben and Me).
