More Happy Than Not by Adam Silvera

5.0

It took me a while to get into this book. But once I did I could not stop from page maybe 100 till the end, I had to finish it that day. I’m giving it 5 stars even though through most of it I felt it was maybe at a 3.5 for me max, because it surprised me. I enjoy being surprised in a story & I love when a book plays with formatting or messing with your readers while also gently breaking our hearts. I loved they both die in the end but this book is even better, and although the writing style is not my favorite, it is genuine to the character and the voice is accurate, believable, and powerful.Â
