Many Waters by Madeleine L'Engle

2.0

70% of the way through before I decided that I was done with this book. The story is pretty good, whimsical, and interesting, but for a series that has previously been steeped in great sci-fi goodness this takes a giant leap out into the desert for a religious/fantasy/realism. This book also discusses some more adult subject matter and I was surprised to find it here. I have nothing against religion in books, but I do not enjoy reading books that make the storyline bend towards the Bible with things mixed in. Especially when it comes in a series that previously did not dive into that subject matter or place. I’m going to rate this 2/5 as I enjoyed a bit of the story, but I just couldn’t keep discussing Noah’s ark.
