I had wanted to read this book due to it being nominated for the women's prize for this year. I wanted to read it after hearing about the plot behind the book but I could not get round to finishing the book. The plot and build-up are great but there is nothing extremely addictive for me to continue reading this book. The writing style was also an issue for me when reading the book but if I can ever pick up the book again I would give it another shot!
