This was a fun read and I think an audiobook helped with my enjoyment. Everything is happening kind of fast so be prepared but this story has so many good elements! There are familiars (Hoot is great and Rowan's familiar reveal was funny), interesting magic, banter and mystery. I'm not 100% sold on characters but I think I will get there.
