I could certainly relate to the young boy's snuffy nose! I loved [b:All the World|6562659|All the World|Liz Garton Scanlon|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1424982975l/6562659._SX50_.jpg|6755510] by Liz Garton Scanlon, so I was willing to give this book a try. It would be a charming read aloud for the primary grades.
