One of my favorite books. I think if you loved “The Picture of Dorian Gray” and are interested in Oscar Wilde’s story you should definitely give this uncensored version of the book a try. The part that interested me most (in the actual book there were only a few parts of which I definitely knew they were different from the censored version) was the long introduction that gave lots of    information on Oscar Wilde, the story itself, how real people inspired the characters and the writing process.
So the story itself would have gotten 5 stars (as I have given the censored version when I first read it) but I’m giving this version 4,5 stars because even though I loved the introduction, it’s not necessary to spend that much money on a book that provides the same information as a few separate google searches.
