Hot Mama by Jennifer Estep

5.0

I was prepared to dislike Fiona when I started this book. She was my least favorite character from Karma Girl because she seemed shallow and mean-spirited—not traits normally attributed to a heroine—but she surprised me. Yes, she is shallow and mean-spirited, but she’s also loyal, caring, intelligent, and has a reason for some of her less-than-savory emotions. I grew to care about her and what happened to her, especially in regards to Johnny. His character was a perfect fit for her. He could handle her tantrums, understood the lifestyle, and could sooth her savage temper.
