I felt uncomfortably bad in a cringe way most of the book for Adelaide. Her mental health issues made it impossible for her to be in a healthy safe relationship. Her BF, Rory, total A$$. However, I did enjoy the unbreakable bond of true friends in this book. Her road to help and recovery could have been expanded on more. At the end of the day, I didn't love or hate this book.
Graphic: Mental illness, Toxic relationship, and Vomit
Moderate: Grief, Suicidal thoughts, Gaslighting, Alcohol, and Emotional abuse
Minor: Sexual assault, Sexual violence, Miscarriage, and Rape
