I really enjoyed this book an I admit I didn't think I would. Space just isn't something I read about very often, sci-fi is not my usual genre but the cover for this book was too pretty to pass up. This is a young adult story with a little sprinkle of romance and no spice. This would be good for someone that likes coming-of-age stories with great diversity and representation. The book pulls off a dramatic but hopeful vibe and I found myself rooting for the Earthlings as their journey progressed. They (the earthlings) are all thrown into everything so quickly and I like the way the author dealt with the way each character grieved the change differently. Victories Greater than Death is a fast paced, plot based story with tons of unique detail and perspectives.
