Sense and Sensibility by Jane Austen

4.0

I’d never read an Austen - or seen a film adaptation - until this year and am unexpectedly hooked. Bury me in mountains upon mountains of that gentle 18th century prose, y’all! A balm for the soul in these Strange and Unnerving times...

Bonus: Austen’s a bit of an anti-establishment shit-talker - who knew! (probably everyone, but me) - so, like, come for said gentle prose, but stay for the social commentary.
