It has been so long since I read the first book, that I really didn't remember it at all, but I really didn't need to. Mackenzie and Jordan from book 1, [b:Stay with Me|21840816|Stay with Me (The PI Guys, #1)|S.E. Harmon|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1396489899s/21840816.jpg|41108310], were secondary characters in this story. This time around, we have Mac's business partner, Drew, who is stuck with screenwriter, Noah, shadowing him. It doesn't take long before sparks are flying and things heat up.
I loved how Noah and Drew were together, even when they weren't really communicating. There were some funny parts, some that made me a little sad, and some that pissed me off a bit. But I am a sucker for happy endings and I am glad that Noah and Drew got theirs.
