Royally Yours is an addition to the Royally trilogy about the parents. Sometimes these types of prequel novels are hit and miss, but this one was a hit!
Lenora was such a strong character. Royal romances generally involve the male as the royal (minus this series), but for this one Lenora was the queen and Edward is just a nobleman, so we got to see Lenora in a leader mode as she is always standing up for what she wants; fighting the council for what she wants to happen. She was so fun to read about.
Edward was a really romantic adventurer. He grounded Lenora when she needed to be and helped her rise up in the other times. The romance between these two are really beautiful. Edward has such an understanding of what Lenora needed from him and what he had to be for her that they complimented each other throughout the whole time. Even though they agreed to marry each other for political reasons, watching them fall in love was so cute.
It was such a great read and if Emma Chase decided to add another book to the series I would be all in for that.
