Neal Shusterman is just amazing y’all. He writes such good dystopians. I love how this book explores the possibilities that could very well arise from the California water crisis. And Shusterman does a very good job of making the scenario in the book seem not that outrageous; which, to be honest, it really isn’t, and that makes it even more reflective of a read.
Moderate: Violence and Death
Minor: Rape
