Different, Not Less: A Neurodivergent's Guide to Embracing Your True Self and Finding Your Happily Ever After by ChloƩ Hayden
emotional
hopeful
informative
medium-paced
4.5
Giving it a rating is a bit weird, because yes parts of it are a memoir, but its also an informative guide. Given I just got an autism diagnosis, it gave a lot of helpful information for me, and a thorough intro to current disability activism in the neurodivergence space.
Chloe's voice came through really strongly and she owned her experience. Yes, there's lots of Disney metaphors, but that's Chloe's jam so who cares if they're a bit corny. This book is a useful resource and I plan to lend it to people.
