The End Game by J.T. Ellison, Catherine Coulter

1.0

Meh. That about sums it up. I listened on CD and it was good enough for a commute, but if I was reading the actual words, I think I would have abandoned it. It feels very basic, almost elementary, compared to some of CC's other work. In fact, it reminded me a lot of her early books in the FBI series including the male and female partners who can't manage to do their jobs without becoming romantically involved because, you know, men and women can't work together without thinking about sex *eye roll*. Add that to the right wing politics agenda and it went way outside of the enjoyable fiction category for me. I have given up on reading CC's stand alone work because it is too formulaic now. I don't think I'll bother with continuing this series either.
