The Three Musketeers by Alexandre Dumas

4.0

I mean, this book is a hard one to review: on the one hand it’s a classic, there’s a reason it’s stuck around for so long, on the other hand — I’m starting to see why maybe I’m just not built to love the classics…

A great swashbuckling adventure with a memorable cast, even though I could’ve benefitted from a few French history textbooks to help me understand everything that was going on - and probably to get a few of the jokes.
