This is one of those domestic thrillers that are a guilty pleasure of mine. It’s not profound, it doesn’t have crazy mind bending twists, but it’s a pretty fun and entertaining ride.

The concept was definitely interesting, a polygamist situation where one wife starts to get suspicious and do some investigating of her own about the other wives, and finds her husband might not be who she thinks. You have to suspend your belief for this one, crazy stuff happens and not a lot of it makes much sense honestly. The first half of the book I couldn’t put down and would listen to the audiobook as I cleaned or worked but the second half after the “twist” happened dragged on and got a little nonsensical.  It basically got to the point where I kept listening because I just wanted to know what was going on! Unfortunately the ending really doesn’t make any sense so there is no resolution really. The end made me laugh.

If you’re looking for a quick and fairly entertaining thriller, this one is ok. Are there better thrillers out there? Absolutely, but if you need a break from in depth novels and just want a fun ride this one would be a pretty good choice.
