The Fidelity Files by Brody Jessica

I enjoyed this book even if I had doubts several times throughout the reading. The plot in itself was well-organized and original, the main idea of fidelity tests was a really good one and the romantic aspect of the story was nice.

However, I found it a bit repetitive at times. First Clayton, then Jamie... I was waiting for the twist with Jamie. I saw it coming nearly as soon as she met him. But at the same time, it was a clever choice to "marry" him despite the lack of surprise, because who loves a character without flaws?

My main reservation aubout this book is the character of Jennifer herself. To my mind, she should have told her mother the truth. The way it is, it gives us the impression that she has evolved as a person only to come back to who she was in the beginning minus her lack of love life. This is emphasized by the ending. She didn't give up her secret job, she now has a compagny... I really think that this epilogue brings more questions than closure...

But all in all, the book was good. Quickly read and funny. Just what you want to read when you're not looking for something serious.
