The writing was excellent and interesting, unlike the Interestings themselves. Somehow, I was still able to enjoy this book and the complex relationships in it despite feeling uncomfortable with the characters, whose outlooks on life drove me nuts. While reading, I mostly just worried for and rooted for Dennis at the same time. Also, now that I think about it, do I even remember what happened in this book?
