Something about this writing duo just works for me. I think it’s because each POV feels distinct but interesting, which makes it more engaging. In this case, I liked Avery’s POV quite a bit more than Marissa’s (and would happily read another book from her POV). The ending lost me a bit, but otherwise there wasn’t anything inherently wrong with this.
