theres just something about translated works that somehow hit me even harder. i know this review has been a little overdue but i just didnt knew how to put my words together to write a proper review - im not even sure i will somehow put all my feelings into this meager review.
it is bittersweet, reminding me of my own time in school, as a young teen, as someone who doesnt fit in and the entire journey of the unnamed main character, it hits. his thoughts are so in depth and the conversation he has with kojima, theyre even deeper and its hard to stomach that theyre both spiraling seemingly quickly, which only is accelerated due to the shortness of the book.
and the ending just made me happy? it was something i would want everyone in a similar situation to have. this whole book is so personal and close and focuses on so much on the despair and the coming of age and fitting in as a teen.
