Standout book. One of the best books I have ever read and probably will read. I feel such a deep sense of hurt, loss and sadness when I think about this, as well as a burning desire to ask Priti Patel if she's read it and what she thinks about it.
I really enjoyed the multiple perspectives during this, some of whom I did not expect, and this story became something completely unexpected. I think this discusses the much needed nuance about a topic which is SO complex and charged, and does it using the most exquisite writing. I thought this was absolute perfection.
