Part mystery, part thriller. A story of dark deeds past & present with two intertwined families at its core. Perhaps a little overlong (and I could have done without the references to Covid). That said, I thought it was generally very good, especially the last third, as the revelations come thick and fast and the tension is cranked up several notches. Never read anything by this author before, so will aim to check out some of her other books.
