I love Humans of New York. It is one of my favorite things on the internet. If you are familiar with Brandon Stanton's work then you know precisely what to expect.
What I love about HONY, and specifically this edition which is more global in scope, is how it builds bridges between cultures, communities, cities, and nations. We need more bridge-builders. We need more empathy. We need more compassion. And yes, we need more of the random human utterances that he manages to capture. I am grateful that in spite of all of the grief in the world that we are here on this earth together. That we have the spiritual capacity to connect and to try to understand each other. I strongly believe that this is the purpose of life: to struggle, to have compassion, to connect. Thank you, Brandon Stanton, for showing us this in pictures and in the words you share.
