Yakuza Moon : Memoirs of a Gangster's Daughter by Shōko Tendō

An Honest Look at a Misunderstood Lifestyle

I enjoyed this accounting, although the writing style was very, very elementary. I want to attribute it to it being a translation but other than that the book was good, very raw, and very honest. A lot of it was difficult to digest because of the graphic depictions of drug use, rape, and abuse toward Shoko but that didn't detract from the overall story.
