LOVED this book!! I am never normally drawn to fantasy books but thought I would give this a go as I am already familiar with the story of Alice in Wonderland and this did not disappoint!! I loved the twist on the original story, portraying the bizarre characters Alice meets throughout her time in Wonderland as dark and evil. The imagery was very vivid (and at times very graphic) which is fitting for a story as fantastical as this. I agree with other reviews that the ending was somewhat of an anti-climax but it did not let the entire book down as I think the development of Alice throughout the book led to the ending Christina Henry chose. Definitely will be picking up the rest of the series!!
