Chase and Madison's story is told in a dual perspective style. Which I really love because we get to really know both sides of the story and characters. In my honest opinion, Chase was a douche in the beginning, but he ended up growing on me. The sexy and playful banter between him and Madi was **chef's kiss** perfect! Madison's character development was great too. She starts out as Martyr Madi with no backbone and ends up FINALLY sticking up for herself and setting boundaries with people. I loved this book, but because of my experience with family members who have died from cancer, the book started to put me in a bad headspace.
Tropes: Second Chance, Forced Proximity, Fake Dating/Fiancé, Love Triangle, Rich Man
Moderate: Death of parent and Cancer
Minor: Bullying and Infidelity
