iGen: Why Today’s Super-Connected Kids Are Growing Up Less Rebellious, More Tolerant, Less Happy--and Completely Unprepared for Adulthood--and What That Means for the Rest of Us, by Jean M. Twenge

I read this book in a college sociology class and found it extremely disappointing. As a member of Gen Z it was difficult reading the opinions of a member of Gen X about how my generation is basically doomed. This book was written in the mid 2010s and i think that after political events and the pandemic, Gen Z has become more resilient and empowered and brave than we are described in this book, and i think that it is an inaccurate representation of young people today.
