Severed is the second book in The Linked Trilogy and will have you at the edge of your seat. I did not expect to be sucked in by this book so early on, but after a few chapters, I was fully invested.  Kyra's mission continues in the second book but the stakes are higher. Being linked with Jay and Isaac is proven to be challenging as Isaac with his irresistible charm and Jay with his loving nature both have her heart. 


There are major plot twists, betrayals, and sacrifices. After this ending, I am eager to know what will happen next. The title 'Severed' is a huge clue as to what happens in the book, so I'm kind of worried about the last book Shattered. There were emotional moments where my heart broke for Isaac and Jay, and moments where I rejoiced. There is a love triangle, so be prepared to have your heart broken. Be sure to check the TW as there are violence and other sensitive topics. Recommended for age 18+.
