i just know i will continue to say this, but taylor jenkins reid never misses!! this story is told via interview transcripts which i fell in love with. i listened to the audiobook while reading it physically and i was so enthralled from start to finish. the characters felt SO real and i felt like i was getting a large glimpse into their lives. a part of me felt like i was actually there with them experiencing life with them. and can i just say.. the women in this story>>>> i live laugh love the women taylor jenkins reid writes. i just really love them all and i found myself wishing they were real. i completely get why this got adapted into a tv show, and the show is SO! GOOD! i imagined the characters exactly like the show and it just made the experience all the more amazing. their music is like jaw dropping good, i think my fav at the moment is let me down easy!! the only reason i didn't give it 5 stars is because evelyn hugo and malibu rising just gave me THAT feeling and i enjoyed them a *tiny bit* more. but i still loved the heck out of this. it's so brilliant. i can't wait to read all the rest of her books. this will be my taylor jenkins reid year!!!
